We invite all contributors for a three-course conference dinner on 17 September. The cost for this will be added to the registration fee for participants who wish to attend.
The conference venue is located at the English Park Campus of Uppsala University, with entry at Thunbergsvägen 3H. From the Central Station, there is a 20-minute walk to the Campus. Public transportation is available (bus stop Slottsbacken closest to the venue). Uppsala Central Station is located conveniently 40 minutes by train from Stockholm and 18 minutes by train from Arlanda Airport.
There are plenty of options for accommodation within walking distance of the conference venue. All include breakfast. Please book early. Below is a list of some of the options:
Akademihotellet. Located within a 5-minute walk of the conference venue, close to Uppsala Cathedral and the University Main Building.
Grand Hotell Hörnan. Located in-between the Central Station and the conference venue, next to Fyrisån, the river running through the city. Walking distance 10 minutes in either direction.
Hotell Duvan. Close to the Central Station. 15-minute walk to the conference venue.
Clarion Hotell Gillet. 15-minute walk to the conference venue, 10-minute walk from the Central Station.
Scandic Uplandia. 15-minute walk to the conference venue, 10-minute walk from the Central Station.
Best Western Hotell Uppsala. Affordable. 15-minute walk to the conference venue.
Hotell Stella. Slightly lower standard but affordable. Very close to the conference venue.
